to serve/ The will dated 13 sept, 1742,
Bequest to Wife Margery Her thirds, Bequest to son Paul
land l bought of John parks & Jonathan Bane Is with all the Build-
ings, Bequest to son Silas &eon Hoses all the Farm I new live
on. Bequest of my negro boy called Prince to son Paul,
And negro man |ony if he lives shall serve 20 yrs from above
date,and then be free, and be his own man. And further my will is
that said Hegro man serve the 20 yrs en this Farm I now live on
for the advantage of said Farmland for the bringing up of my son
Hoses To learn him to Read Wright & Cypher so much as tha the thought
needful, and further my fill is that my son Paul,should have
the care and oversight of ay negro man til my son Silas comes to
the age of 21 yrs, then he is to take the care of my Negro man till
he has served out the 20 yrs, Son Paul Parka sole Exec. Wit,

Court Record, Page 50 - 5 June, 1739: Adms. granted to Margaret Rockwell,
widow, who recog. in 600 pounds, with Job Rockwell of Windsor.

Page 5 (Vol. XIV) 11 October, 1743: An account of Adms. was exhibited in
Court by Margaret Rockwell, Adms. Accepted.

Page 22 (Vol. XV) 2 September, 1746: Margaret Rockwell, Adms., now moves
this court for a dist. of the moveable part of sd. estate to her the sd.
widow and to Samuel Rockwell, Margaret, Elizabeth, Mary, and Sarah
Rockwell, children of the sd. deceased. And this court appoint Lt. Samuel
Warner, Amos Walbridge and Josiah Converse, of sd. Stafford, to divide sd.
estate; to the widow, 1/3 part of the moveable estate, and to Samuel a
double part; and to each of the other children their single shares. And
make return thereof to this Court.

Page 121 - 16 March 1749-50: Margaret Rockwell now having fully finished
her Adms. (estate for distribution, 901 pounds - 16-01), moves that dist.
be made: To the widow, 1/3 part of the moveable estate, and 1/3 part of the
real estate during life; and to Samuel Rockwell his double share; to
Margaret Rockwell (alias Bloggett) and Elizabeth, Mary and Sarah Rockwell,
to each of them their single shares. And appoint Samuel Warner, William
Orcut and ----------- Olvin(?) distributors.

to Samuel Rockwell, to Margaret Rockwell alias Bloggett alias Tyler, to
Elizabeth Rockwell alias Orcutt, to Mary Rockwell alias Orcutt, and to
Sarah Rockwell alias Loomis. By Isaac Pinney, Josiah Converse and Daniel
Alden, Jun'r.

By August 1761, his widow Margaret had married Mr. Avery, daughter Margaret had married first Josiah Blogget, and second Tyler, Elizabeth had married Simon Orcutt, Mary had married Solomon Orcutt, and Sarah had married Nathaniel Loomis Jr. Samuel Rockwell married Hannah Orcutt in 1757.
